Biography
Dr. Lookman Odejobi earned both his undergraduate degree and medical degree at the University of Ilorin in Ilorin Kwara State, Nigeria, followed by post-graduate fellowship education in Lagos, Nigeria. Dr. Odejobi then came to the U.S. in 1990 to complete his residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, where he was chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Odejobi established his private practice in 2000. He is also actively involved in teaching, currently serving as a preceptor for nurse practitioner programs at Monmouth University, The College of New Jersey, and Rutgers University. He also held an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia for several years.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Odejobi is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the West African College of Physicians and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
Dr. Odejobi participated in a medical mission to Nigeria in 2014. He enjoys volunteering and fundraising for the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth County, New Jersey.
Dr. Odejobi also enjoys jogging, running and reading.
